The West Cork MARITIME Single Malt Irish Whiskey CALVADOS CASK FINISHED Limited Edition is an exceptional limited-edition release from the renowned West Cork Distillery in Ireland, combining traditional Irish whiskey-making craftsmanship with the influence of French Calvados casks. At 43% ABV in a 0.7-liter bottle, this release is part of the exclusive Maritime Release Series, which consists of a total of four different single malts. The distinctive bottle shape is modeled after historic float balls, which once served as buoyancy aids for fishing nets and symbolize the distillery’s close connection to the Irish coast.

The triple-distilled single malt Irish whiskey is first aged in carefully selected first-fill bourbon casks before receiving its characteristic finish in Calvados casks from the traditional French house of Garnier. This special secondary aging imparts elegant fruit aromas of fresh apples and pears, as well as subtle nutty nuances, which blend harmoniously with notes of vanilla and bourbon cask. Like all bottlings in the Maritime Release series, this edition is bottled without chill filtration and without the addition of colorants, thereby fully preserving its natural character and complex aromatics.
