The Tommasi Graticcio Appassionato 12.5% vol. 0.75 l is an expressive red wine from Veneto that perfectly embodies the traditional craftsmanship of the Tommasi family. Since 1902, the winery has stood for the highest quality and the passion for creating authentic wines from regional grape varieties.
The Graticcio Appassionato is made from Corvina, Rondinella, and Merlot grapes, which come from selected Veneto vineyards. After harvesting, a portion of the grapes are left to dry for about a month on traditional bamboo racks, called "graticcio." This process gives the wine a more intense aroma and forms the basis for its distinctive character.
After fermentation, the wine ages for six months in large Slavonian oak barrels. This gives it additional depth, structure, and elegance.
