The grapes - classically Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone - come from the historic Classico area and are traditionally dried after the harvest. This elaborate appassimento process results in a natural concentration of aromas, extract and structure. After vinification, the wine matures over a long period in large wooden barrels, which gives it complexity and balance. With 15% alcohol by volume, the Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2021 is powerful, dense and yet harmoniously integrated.
