The GlenDronach House Editions The Sevillian Room is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky that combines the GlenDronach Distillery’s traditional expertise in sherry cask aging with a tribute to the Spanish city of Seville. This release is part of the GlenDronach House Editions introduced in 2026, which were developed to mark the distillery’s 200th anniversary. Master Blender Rachel Barrie spent about two years working on the new series. For The Sevillian Room, Oloroso sherry casks, Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, and Palo Cortado sherry casks are combined. It is precisely the additional influence of Palo Cortado that gives this edition a special status and highlights Seville’s close connection to Andalusian sherry culture.

The Sevillian Room is designed as a permanent release for the global travel retail market and is offered at 43% ABV in a generous 1-liter bottle, complete with a gift box. The inspiration ranges from Seville’s orange trees and sun-drenched squares to the city’s Moorish-influenced architecture. At the same time, The GlenDronach’s signature style is preserved, with maturation in various sherry casks playing a central role. Furthermore, the whisky is bottled without chill filtration. The combination of Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez, and Palo Cortado sherry casks, its Highland heritage, and its exclusive focus on the travel retail market make The Sevillian Room a unique interpretation of the classic GlenDronach Sherry Cask Single Malt.
