Under the direction of Master Blender Billy Walker, single malts are crafted here that reveal new facets of Speyside whiskies through exceptional cask combinations. For the Cuvee Cask Finish 2012, the whisky was first matured in the traditional manner in American ex-bourbon casks before being transferred to carefully selected European red wine barriques for its final maturation. What makes this bottling special is the blending of four different wine cask finishes into a harmonious work of art. The premium 0.7-liter bottle is aimed at connoisseurs and collectors who appreciate complex Speyside single malts with distinctive cask character.

For this bottling, Billy Walker selected exclusively high-quality barriques from renowned European wine regions. The casks used came from the French AOC regions of Languedoc and Medoc, as well as barriques from the Italian wineries Grattamacco and Recioto della Valpolicella. This extraordinary combination of casks imparts intense fruit notes, elegant spice, and impressive depth to the whisky. The GlenAllachie Wine Series Cuvee Cask Finish 2012 is bottled at 48% ABV, non-chill-filtered, and with no added color, thereby fully preserving its natural character.
