Tenuta Luce Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2021 15% Vol. 0,75l

The Tenuta Luce Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2021 15% is a sophisticated Tuscan red wine from Montalcino, made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes. Of Tenuta Luce’s total 92 hectares of vineyards, 11 hectares are designated for the production of Brunello di Montalcino. A significant portion comes from the Sangiovese vines of the Madonnino vineyard, whose elevation of about 400 meters above sea level and Galestro-rich soils create ideal conditions for structured and elegant wines. The grapes for the 2021 vintage were harvested on September 24. Following careful selection, fermentation took place with natural yeasts in concrete tanks at 26 °C over ten days, followed by a maceration period of approximately four weeks.

The Luce Brunello 2021 then aged for at least 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels before being bottled in 0.75-liter bottles in July 2025. With 15% alcohol, a total acidity of 6.85 g/l, and a pH of 3.35, this vintage has the potential for further development in the bottle. The warm and dry summer of 2021 gave way to a sunny September with cooler nights, allowing the Sangiovese grapes to reach optimal phenolic ripeness. As a Brunello di Montalcino DOCG from Tuscany, this bottling combines Montalcino’s time-honored winemaking traditions with the distinctive style of Tenuta Luce and is particularly suited for connoisseurs of age-worthy, classically styled Sangiovese wines.
