The Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rose 2012 with 12% vol. in a 0.75 l bottle including gift box is one of the most prestigious rose champagnes and represents the highest expression of the House of Taittinger. The cuvee consists of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, using only grapes from the best sites in the Grand Cru regions of the Cote des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. The Pinot Noir portion contains a significant amount of red wine from Bouzy, which gives this rose its exceptional depth, structure and aromatic intensity.
The 2012 vintage is considered one of the greatest champagne vintages of modern times. After vinification, the Comtes de Champagne Rose matures for many years in the deep chalk cellars of Reims, where it develops its characteristic elegance, complexity and creaminess. The result is a champagne of impressive finesse, characterized by mineral tension, multi-layered fruit aromas and perfect balance. With ageing potential until 2040, this rose demonstrates its exceptional longevity and is one of the most exquisite prestige cuvees in its category - a champagne with majestic expression and long-lasting depth.
