Produced by St. Kilian Distillers in Lower Franconia, this single malt whisky from Germany is based on carefully malted barley and traditional distillation in copper stills. It was matured in an ex-champagne Vin Clair cask, a cask that was previously filled with the still base wine for champagne, giving the whisky a special depth, freshness and elegant structure. As a single cask bottling, this whisky was bottled at 58.7% cask strength and thus retains its full intensity and individuality.
