Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026 by the renowned independent bottler Signatory Vintage, this release features a robust 57.1% ABV (100 Proof) as part of the popular Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition. The 0.7-liter bottle is aimed at whiskey enthusiasts who appreciate an authentic single malt with an intense sherry cask character.
After maturation, this Glen Elgin single malt is finished in Oloroso sherry butts, allowing the distillate’s fruity and malty notes to blend harmoniously with spicy sherry aromas. The Oloroso casks lend the whiskey additional depth and impart complex notes of dried fruit, nuts, chocolate, and subtle oak spice. Like all bottlings in the Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition, this whiskey is bottled without chill filtration (un-chillfiltered) and without added colorants (no added color).
