Shede Classic is a premium Chinese baijiu from Shede Spirits and belongs to the traditional "strong-aroma" style. Its production draws on a Chinese brewing tradition dating back over 1,300 years. It employs time-honored methods that the producer links to the “Taihe Liquor Classic” brewing technique, designated as intangible cultural heritage. Another distinctive feature is the so-called “Golden Liquor” technology, which, according to Shede, is said to contribute to a particularly elegant and harmonious spirit profile. This sets the Shede Classic apart from European spirits such as whiskey, liqueur, or fruit brandy and represents a distinct, tradition-rich category of Chinese spirits.

Special attention is paid to the aging and subsequent blending of the Shede Classic Baijiu. The manufacturer specifies that the product is aged for at least six years in its original storage vessels. In addition, selected distillates aged for more than 15 years are used for the final blending. The information on the production process also describes aging for more than eight years in purple Yixing pottery. Aging takes place in traditional cellars using methods closely tied to the cultural heritage of Chinese spirits production.
