The Scheiblhofer Praittenbrunn 2021 is a powerful, internationally inspired red wine of great depth and finesse. It combines the best of two grape varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot – in a masterful blend that elevates Burgenland's potential to a world-class level. Grown in the best vineyards around Andau and vinified with the utmost care, this wine is an expression of modern Austrian red winemaking.

Aging takes place in two phases of 16 months each in new French barriques, which gives the wine not only structure and depth, but also a complex aromatic character and ageability. With an alcohol content of 15% vol., enormous concentration, and the typical Scheiblhofer signature, the Praittenbrunn is a monument of a red wine – powerful, structured, and elegant at the same time.

The dense texture, the fine acidity structure and the distinctive but ripe tannins give this wine enormous aging potential until at least 2039, although decanting it now already creates intense moments of enjoyment.
