The Salzl Rose Cuvée 2024 is an expressive, fruit-forward, yet finely structured rosé wine from Burgenland, captivating with its invigorating freshness and harmonious aromas. This elegant cuvée combines the Zweigelt, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties, which grow on diverse soils—Paratschernosem (loamy sand), sandy subsoil, and black earth (loamy silt) with a high gravel content—thus contributing to the wine's complex complexity.

The vinification is particularly gentle: After a short maceration period, the juice is drawn off the skins without pressure and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at 15°C. A subsequent two-month aging on the fine lees provides additional creaminess and balance. With 13.5% alcohol by volume, the Salzl Rose 2024 not only offers vibrant fruit and delicate spice, but also a drinkable potential until at least 2027 with optimal storage.

This new-generation rosé wine is a delight as a versatile food accompaniment or as a stylish aperitif – wonderfully stimulating, elegantly structured, and refreshingly modern.
