It is produced by Saint James in Sainte-Marie, Martinique, from fresh sugarcane juice and thus adheres to the classic style of a Rhum Agricole Martinique AOC. This limited-edition bottling is based on the 2015 vintage, which was placed in barrels on July 1, 2015, and aged in the distillery’s cellars until September 5, 2025. The aging process utilized 200-liter American oak barrels as well as 350-liter French oak barrels. The extended aging under tropical conditions in Sainte-Marie intensifies the interaction between the distillate and the wood, imparting additional depth, maturity, and structure to the rum.
