The Rochelt Wachauer Marille 2018 50% ABV 0.7 l in a wooden box is a fine fruit distillate specialty from Tyrol that embodies the best of Austrian distilling. The Rochelt family business has been known for decades for its handcrafted spirits of the highest quality. For this limited edition, only fully ripe, sun-drenched Wachau apricots from Lower Austria are used. The Wachau is one of the most famous and renowned apricot regions in Europe, famous for its unique climate and mineral-rich soils, which impart a particularly intense aroma to the fruit. After careful hand-picking, the fruit is mashed and gently fermented for several weeks before being distilled twice using the traditional distilling method.

The distillate is then stored for several years in open glass carboys in the distillery's attic. There, it matures with natural temperature fluctuations, gaining elegance and developing its incomparable depth of aroma. With an alcohol content of 50% vol., the Rochelt Wachauer Marille 2018 is powerful, intense, yet harmonious.
