The Regele Gelber Muskateller 2020 comes from the traditional Regele winery in Leibnitz, in the heart of Southern Styria, and exemplifies the aromatic radiance of this native grape variety. The steep vineyards of the Southern Styrian hills, characterized by barren, calcareous soils and a microclimate characterized by warm days and cool nights, offer ideal conditions for growing Muscat with fine spice, elegant fruit, and a lively acidity.
The 2020 vintage is particularly balanced, with a moderate alcohol content of 11.5% vol. and typical varietal expression. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves the fresh, grape-like aromas without being overpowered by the influence of oak.
