The Quinta do Pinto Touriga Nacional Reserva DOC Alenquer 2019 with 14.5% vol. in a 0.75 l bottle is an impressive Portuguese red wine that expresses the essence of the noble Touriga Nacional grape variety in its purest form. This indigenous grape, known for its depth, structure and aromatic complexity, reveals its full personality on the unique terroir of the DOC Alenquer, north of Lisbon. The wine is made exclusively from 100% Touriga Nacional and impressively demonstrates how elegance, intensity and finesse blend together in perfect harmony.
The grapes are carefully selected and thinned out during the ripening period to ensure maximum concentration and aromatic purity. After fermentation with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks and a three-week post-fermentation maceration, the wine matures for 12 months in French oak barrels (1st and 2nd ageing). This method gives it structure, depth and balance without overpowering the fruit. The result is a wine with full body, harmonious freshness and precise elegance - a prime example of Portuguese viticulture at the highest level and a reflection of Quinta do Pinto's philosophy of authenticity, craftsmanship and terroir awareness.
