The Poliziano Rosso di Montepulciano DOC 2024 is based on a classic cuvee of 80% Sangiovese - traditionally called Prugnolo Gentile in Montepulciano - and 20% Merlot. The grapes are organically grown on clay soils rich in galestro, which contribute significantly to the typical regional structure. The wine is matured both in stainless steel tanks and in barriques, with the maturation period deliberately kept short in order to preserve the youthful freshness of the Sangiovese. The 2024 vintage is vegan, filtered and sealed with a natural cork; the recommended drinking temperature is 16-18 °C, with ageing potential until 2030. As a stylistic introduction to the world of Vino Nobile, this Rosso displays the characteristic clarity and directness that characterize the Poliziano winery and combines tradition with modern precision.

In the glass, the Rosso 2024 presents itself as an authentic expression of its terroir: the combination of organic farming, regional grape variety identity and reduced wood maturation ensures a clear, varietal structure. The cuvee is youthful, finely built and has a balance that is typical of Poliziano - carried by elegance, moderate tannins and a clear, exciting line. Thanks to its accessibility and precise focus, this Rosso is suitable as a versatile accompaniment to food as well as a wine for enjoyable evenings and an uncomplicated introduction to the Tuscan style.
