The Planteray Rum Barbados XO 20th Anniversary is one of the best-known and most appreciated premium rums from Barbados and exemplifies the traditional rum culture of the Caribbean. This XO rum is a carefully composed blend of various Barbados rums that are at least 13 years old and consist of selected distillates. The individual Barbados rums are first matured for several years in the Caribbean in former bourbon barrels, giving them a fine sweetness, smooth texture and elegant woody notes.
The actual blending to create the final blend then takes place at the French headquarters of Maison Ferrand.
