As part of the modern Core Range, this Maritime Malt from the Highlands embodies the distillery's close connection to the North Sea coast. The name Harbour refers to the sheltered harbour of Wick and underlines the influence of the salty sea air, which subtly affects the distillate during maturation.
Old Pulteney Harbour 40% is matured exclusively in carefully selected American oak casks. This maturation in high-quality American oak gives the Highland single malt with American oak maturation a balanced structure with creamy, fruity and spicy elements. Stored in the traditional Dunnage Warehouse near Wick Bay, this single malt 0.7 l develops its typical subtle maritime character.
