This single malt comes from the Speyside distillery BenRiach, which is prized for its fruity, malt-forward spirits, and was distilled in 2014. Its maturation in a rarely used Koval Rye Cask – a former rye whisky cask from the US distillery Koval in Chicago – gives it a unique, spicy and fruity profile.
After 10 years of maturation, the whisky was bottled at cask strength with 52.7% ABV, unchilled, and uncolored to unadulteratedly showcase the depth and complexity of this exceptional cask combination.
