The Maschio Beniamino Brente Cuvee 9 Anni Gran Riserva Grappa is an outstanding example of the Italian art of distilling and is considered one of the flagships of the traditional house of Beniamino Maschio from Veneto. Only carefully selected Pinot and Prosecco marc from the hills around Conegliano, a region with a long grappa tradition and ideal climatic conditions, is used for this Grappa Gran Riserva.
The grappa is produced using the traditional method in discontinuous stills in a steam bath. This particularly gentle distillation preserves the typical varietal aromas of the marc with great precision. The grappa then matures for over nine years in small wooden barrels. During this long barrel ageing, the grappa develops its remarkable depth, a distinctive aromatic layering and an exceptionally soft, balanced structure. At 42%, the grappa is powerful yet elegant and harmonious.
