The Lochlea Smoke Without Fire Single Estate Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an innovative bottling from the independent Lochlea Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands. As a single estate whisky, it is made exclusively from the distillery's own barley, grown in the distillery's fields. This represents transparency, authenticity, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Bottled at 46% ABV, it offers a harmonious balance between intensity and drinking pleasure.

Maturation took place in a combination of ex-peated casks and red wine casks, which gives this whisky an exciting aromatic profile. The ex-peated casks impart a subtle smoky note, while the red wine casks add fruity depth, red berries, and soft tannins. It is bottled without chill filtration and without coloring, thus fully preserving its natural purity and unadulterated aroma. The name “Smoke Without Fire” clarifies the philosophy of this bottling: a noticeable, yet finely integrated smokiness that is not dominant, but harmoniously integrated.
