Kopke 20-Year-Old Tawny Port (20% ABV) originates from Portugal’s Douro Valley and is produced by the historic port house Kopke, which dates back to 1638. This 20-year-old Tawny Port is crafted from traditional Douro grape varieties, harvested at the peak of ripeness, destemmed, and processed with great care. During a controlled fermentation process, the addition of grape spirit preserves the wine’s natural residual sweetness. Selected wines from various vintages are then aged for varying periods in oak barrels before being blended into the final cuvée. The "20 years" designation refers to the average age of the wines in the blend, reflecting the profound maturity and character developed through long-term oak aging.

Thanks to its extended maturation in oak, the Kopke 20-Year-Old Tawny Port achieves a style that is both concentrated and elegant, characterized by a harmonious interplay of dried fruits, delicate spices, and refined woody notes. Its distinctive orange-gold hue—accented by subtle greenish highlights—is a testament to its long oxidative aging, while its velvety, lingering finish ensures exceptional balance. With an alcohol content of 20% and a pronounced yet well-integrated sweetness, this mature Portuguese port serves perfectly as a classic digestif or as a versatile accompaniment to cheeses and desserts. This 0.75-liter bottle offers a traditional Tawny Port with an average age of 20 years, showcasing the elegant, nutty, and spicy qualities typical of well-aged port wines.
