At the heart of the set is the 0.7-liter bottle of Jaegermeister, whose recipe is based on a blend of 56 herbs, roots, flowers, and spices. The ingredients are processed into various macerates and then blended together. An important part of the production process is aging in oak barrels before the herbal liqueur is given its final blend. Jaegermeister is produced in Wolfenbuettel, Lower Saxony, and is one of the most internationally renowned German herbal liqueurs.
