Jack Daniel's 10 Years Old Tennessee Whiskey Batch 05 48,5% Vol. 0,7l

Jack Daniel's 10 Years Old Tennessee Whiskey Batch 05 is an exceptional release from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, showcasing this time-honored Tennessee whiskey aged for 10 years. The 10-Year-Old series draws on the brand’s historical legacy, during which Jack Daniel’s had already offered whiskeys with age statements. It is based on the distillery’s signature production method: After distillation, the whiskey is slowly filtered through sugar maple charcoal as part of the Lincoln County Process, also known as Charcoal Mellowing. It is then aged for at least ten years in new, charred American oak barrels, whose influence during the long aging period contributes significantly to the whiskey’s development.

As Batch 05, this release continues the coveted series of aged Jack Daniel’s bottlings. The 10-year-old Tennessee whiskey is bottled at a robust 48.5% alcohol by volume, or 97 proof, and thus differs significantly from the classic Old No. 7 in terms of both age and alcohol content. The long barrel aging ensures a distinctive blend of the typical Jack Daniel’s house style and intense oak influence. It is precisely the combination of 10 years of aging, Tennessee origin, charcoal mellowing, and batch bottling that makes this edition appealing to whiskey enthusiasts and collectors. In the 0.7-liter bottle, Batch 05 offers a unique opportunity to experience the Jack Daniel’s style in a significantly longer-aged form.
