The Hunter Laing SCARABUS 15 Years Old Islay Single Malt 46% Vol. 0.7 l is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky with a strong character that impressively captures the rough, maritime soul of the island of Islay as a Limited Edition 2026. Bottled by independent bottler Hunter Laing, the Scarabus brand stands for mysterious origins, traditional craftsmanship and an unadulterated approach to the classic Islay whisky style. The name "Scarabus" comes from Old Norse and means "rocky place", which aptly reflects the wild landscape and character of this whisky.
This 15-year-old single malt whisky is matured in selected ex-bourbon casks, resulting in a clear, structured aroma. The focus is on the combination of maritime peat smoke, salty notes and subtle sweetness, which is given additional depth by the long maturation period. Bottled at 46%, without chill-filtration and without colorant, the original character of this Islay single malt is fully preserved. The combination of smoke, sea breeze, caramel and citrus makes this bottling a multi-layered experience with a long-lasting impression.
