The Heinrich Vitikult Blaufraenkisch Burgenland 2024 12% vol. 0.75 l is a Blaufraenkisch from Burgenland with a strong character that clearly reflects the signature of the renowned Heinrich winery. The grapes come from the Altes Weingebirge vineyard in Deutschkreutz, characterized by loamy soils with a very high lime content. Under the influence of the Pannonian climate, the vines grow in a natural, sustainable balance and produce structured wines characterized by their terroir.
The grapes are harvested selectively by hand. After controlled mash fermentation with natural spontaneous fermentation and subsequent biological acid reduction, the wine matures for 12 months in small oak barrels. This maturation gives the Blaufraenkisch 2024 a fine, subtle roasted aroma and supports the ripe tannins without masking the fruit. With 12% alcohol by volume, this Austrian quality red wine is elegant, structured and terroir-driven. The ageing potential of 6-8 years underlines its maturity. We recommend opening the wine 1-2 hours before drinking.
