The Gerard Bertrand La Grande Bleue Mediterranee IGP 2024 is a finely crafted organic white wine from southern France that reflects the beauty, diversity, and aromatic expressiveness of the Mediterranean coastal region. It pays homage to the Mediterranean itself—to its saline freshness, its mineral depth, and the abundance of sun-drenched grape varieties.
The blend combines five emblematic varieties of the region: Rolle (Vermentino), Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. These are vinified individually to optimally showcase their individual characteristics. The grapes are deliberately harvested in the coolest morning hours to preserve their freshness and aromatic clarity. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, without barrel aging, which gives the wine its pure, unadulterated fruit and vibrant minerality.
