The grapes come from the region’s coolest high-altitude vineyards, where the grape variety retains its characteristic freshness despite the hot, windy Mediterranean climate. The diverse soils consist primarily of hard garrigue limestone, slate, and alluvial gravel. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness in late September, with controlled yields promoting good concentration and an elegant tannin structure.
