The family business G. Rozelierures is already in the 5th generation. For more than 150 years, the family produces high quality spirits. The barley used for the production is specially grown by them. Another special feature is that G. Rozelieures is the only company in France that works with peated malt.
G. Rozelieures Subtil is made with non-smoked malt from the distillery family's own grain.
After malting and a fairly short fermentation, double distillation takes place in the Charentais still. The subsequent maturation takes place in ex-Cognac casks, ex-Bourbon casks and new casks from the Vosges.
This whiskey is characterized by its fruitiness and lightness.
