Distilled in 2006, the rum was made from molasses and produced using Foursquare's signature pot and column still method. It was then matured for 14 years in a former bourbon barrel in Barbados, where the tropical climate caused intense barrel interaction and aroma concentration. The rum was then matured for a further 3 years in Europe to develop additional complexity and depth. This single cask edition was bottled in November 2023 at cask strength with 59% vol., naturally natural color, non-chill filtered and without additives - an honest, authentic expression of the Barbadian art of distilling.
