The Faustino VII Tempranillo 2023 comes from the heart of Rioja – one of Spain's most renowned wine regions – and represents the classic signature of Bodegas Faustino, which has stood for excellent quality and a sense of tradition for over 150 years. This single-varietal Tempranillo offers an accessible yet characterful introduction to the world of Rioja red wines and is the result of meticulous work in both the vineyard and the cellar.
The vines grow on calcareous clay soils under ideal climatic conditions in Rioja Alavesa. Selective harvesting and controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks form the basis for the clear fruit and balance of this wine. The Tempranillo then ages for several months in American oak barrels, imparting subtle roasted aromas and structure without overpowering the freshness of the fruit.
