The basis of this fine molasses rum is a selection of mature distillates that have been aged for at least ten years in oak barrels under tropical conditions. The rum is then given a particularly fine finish in Sauternes wine barrels, which gives it its unmistakable complexity and velvety sweetness. This maturation gives it an elegant structure and brings out notes of honey, ripe apricots, vanilla and tropical fruits, making it a sensual experience in both aroma and taste.
