The Douglas Laing Timorous Beastie The Cheese Cellar Collection Moscatel Cask Finish Limited Edition is the third and final release in the exclusive Cheese Cellar Collection. With an alcohol content of 48% vol. and strictly limited to just 4,200 bottles worldwide, this exceptional Highland blended malt Scotch whisky combines the unmistakable signature of Douglas Laing with the aromatic influence of sun-ripened Moscatel wine casks from Spain.

The base is the characteristic Timorous Beastie Highland Blended Malt, which is known for its balance of honey sweetness, malt and subtle spicy notes. This edition has been finished in purple and white Moscatel casks, giving the whisky a fascinating complexity and elegant fruity notes. Complemented by Strathearn Single Casks and bottled without colorants or chill-filtration, this limited edition retains its pure, natural character - a prime example of artisanal whisky refinement.

The name "Timorous Beastie" is inspired by the field mouse of the same name from the famous poem "To a Mouse" by the Scottish national poet Robert Burns - but this whisky is anything but shy. It shows strength, elegance and character, expressing the Highland style of Douglas Laing in a new, fruity and floral dimension.
