The Dos Maderas PX 5+5 Years Old Triple Aged Spirit Drink is an exceptional Caribbean rum blend that is a complex and harmonious pleasure thanks to its unique triple-ageing process. Originally from the Caribbean islands of Barbados and Guyana, the distillates are first matured for five years in former bourbon barrels in a tropical climate. They are then transported to Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, where they mature for a further five years in sherry casks previously filled with Pedro Ximenez sherry (PX). This double maturation gives the rum its unmistakable depth, intense sweetness and harmonious spiciness.

At 40% by volume, Dos Maderas PX 5+5 is velvety, rich and wonderfully balanced. The interplay of Caribbean warmth and Spanish cask culture results in an exceptionally rounded taste profile with notes of raisins, vanilla, figs, caramel, honey and fine wood. This maturation over two continents and in three types of cask makes it one of the most characterful spirit drinks in its category.
