Produced by Domaene Wachau, this Wachau Federspiel Rose is a blend of predominantly Blauer Zweigelt with a touch of Pinot Noir. The grapes come from vineyards on both sides of the Danube, with many vines growing on the typical terraced slopes characterized by dry stone walls. The 2025 vintage benefited from a variable but exceptionally high-quality growing season. After careful selection, vinification takes place primarily in stainless steel tanks, supplemented by portions aged in large wooden barrels, concrete eggs, and used small wooden barrels.
