Dellavalle Grappa Affinata in botti da MALVASIA 2007 42% Vol. 0,7l in Holzkiste
The Dellavalle Grappa Affinata in botti da MALVASIA 2007 is a premium grappa from Piedmont, distilled from 100% Barbera pomace sourced from select vineyards in the Monferrato region. Distillation is carried out using traditional methods in small stills over a water bath to bring out the characteristic qualities of the pomace as precisely as possible. The long barrel aging plays a significant role in the unique profile of this bottling. First, the grappa matures for 6 years in a 30-hl Allier oak barrel. This is followed by a further two years of aging in used Malvasia barriques that previously held the typically aromatic Italian wine.
Thanks to a total of eight years of barrel aging, the Dellavalle Grappa Malvasia 2007 combines the powerful structure of Barbera pomace with the influences of Allier oak and Malvasia barrels. The result is a mature grappa with a distinct personality and a warm, herbaceous character. With an alcohol content of 42%, this vintage bottling is packaged in a 0.7-liter bottle and presented in a high-quality wooden box. The combination of the 2007 vintage, Barbera pomace from Monferrato, traditional water-bath distillation, six years of aging in Allier oak, and two years of finishing in Malvasia barriques makes this Dellavalle bottling a special choice for connoisseurs of long-aged Italian grappas.
