The Dellavalle Grappa Affinata in botti da Malvasia 2007 is a finely matured vintage bottling from the Distilleria Roberto Dellavalle in Vigliano d'Asti, Piedmont. For this special edition, selected pomace is distilled traditionally in small copper stills to preserve the typical clarity and fineness of the distillate. The grappa is then matured in Malvasia barrels, which previously housed the aromatic, sweet and fruity Malvasia wine. This maturation gives the grappa a warm, fruity depth and the characteristic elegance of this Mediterranean grape variety. The combination of the Piedmontese art of distillation and the expressive barrel profile makes the grappa from the 2007 vintage a special rarity. Presented in a high-quality wooden box, this bottling is one of Dellavalle's more exclusive cask maturations.

During the long maturation phase in Malvasia barrels, multi-layered aromas of ripe fruit, subtle floral accents and a harmonious sweetness emerge, which blends smoothly with the natural structure of the grappa. Bottled at 42% by volume, this edition has a softly balanced, elegant style that is reminiscent of sun-ripened grapes, fine herbal notes and mild wood. The result is a warm, round and long-lasting taste that reflects the typical fruity richness of Malvasia in a fine, barrel-aged interpretation.
