This limited edition comprises just 10,000 bottles and is the first distillate of its kind from Clement - hence the name "L'Initial". This rum is produced directly from the column still, without any dilution, which results in its impressive alcohol content of 71.4% vol. Despite this intensity, the rum is remarkably aromatic and complex, which is due to the excellent quality of the sugar cane juice and the masterful craftsmanship of the master distillers.

Habitation Clement, founded in 1887 by Homere Clement, is considered the cradle of modern rhum agricole. The "Domaine de l'Acajou" estate covers around 43 hectares and is one of the most important sugar cane plantations on the island.
