The Ca dei Frati Brolettino Lugana Privilegio di Famiglia DOC 2020 is an exceptional Italian white wine from the Lugana region on the southern shore of Lake Garda and is presented exclusively in an elegant wooden box. It represents the highest expression of the Ca dei Frati winery and demonstrates the potential of the indigenous Turbiana grape variety. This wine is only produced in outstanding vintages and stands for precision craftsmanship, elegance and longevity.
The grapes are harvested in mid-October when fully ripe. The calcareous, loamy soil and the warm microclimate of the region give the grapes an exceptional density of aromas and balance. After vinification, which begins in stainless steel tanks and is completed in barriques, a partial malolactic fermentation takes place, which gives the wine creaminess and structure. The Brolettino Privilegio first matures for 7-8 months in barriques and then for an impressive 5 years in the bottle before being released. With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol., it is a white wine of exceptional depth and great ageing potential.
