This special edition opens the new The Westering Home Collection and has been released as Limited Release 2026. The name An Cuan Garbh, Gaelic for "the rough sea", refers to the maritime landscape around the distillery and reflects the connection between Islay single malt Scotch whisky and the coastal region.

Matured for 15 years, the single malt Scotch whisky has been carefully matured in selected oak casks, allowing a complex and balanced structure to develop. Bottled at a strong 51.6%, this Islay single malt whisky has an intense aroma and expressive depth. As with many of the distillery's high-quality bottlings, this edition is also bottled without colorant so that the natural character of the whisky is fully preserved. The Bunnahabhain Distillery is known for its elegant, usually less peated Islay whiskies, which are characterized by maritime influences, complex cask notes and a balanced structure.
