The Maestro Reserva is made from exquisite American sherry oak casks, which are personally selected by the Maestros Roneros and then refined using the exclusive Dark Aromatic Toasting Technique - a process used exclusively by Brugal. The natural sugars in the staves are caramelized through the precise application of heat, creating fine caramel pearls. When refilled with the rum, these combine to create a wonderfully harmonious, naturally sweet and complex composition with a balanced, smooth character.
