The Braida Bricco dell'Uccellone Barbera d'Asti DOCG 2021 is a legendary Italian red wine from Piedmont and is considered an icon among Barbera wines. It is produced by the renowned Braida di Giacomo Bologna winery, which has brought Barbera to new fame worldwide with this wine. The name "Bricco dell'Uccellone" refers to one of the most famous vineyards in the Asti region, whose exceptional microclimate and calcareous soils create ideal conditions for this powerful yet elegant grape variety.
The wine is made from 100% Barbera grapes, which are selectively harvested by hand to ensure the highest quality. After traditional fermentation at a controlled temperature, the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barriques, followed by a further 12 months in the bottle before being released onto the market. This elaborate vinification gives Bricco dell'Uccellone its incomparable depth, structure and aromatic complexity.
