The House of Boulard, founded in 1825, is one of France’s best-known producers and uses carefully selected cider apples from Normandy.

The designation X.O. (Extra Old) indicates an exceptionally long barrel aging process, during which the Calvados is aged for many years in French oak barrels. During this time, it develops its extraordinary depth, harmony, and complexity. The aging process imparts elegant notes of ripe apples, dried fruits, vanilla, and subtle spices, accompanied by delicate woody nuances.
