The Bottega Alexander Aqva di Vita Grappa Amarone is an outstanding Italian grape marc spirit made from the skins of the grapes used to produce the famous Amarone della Valpolicella. This fine grappa perfectly reflects the character of its original wine - powerful, elegant and with an unmistakable aromatic depth.

The basis for its exceptional quality is the careful selection and storage of the fresh, vinous marc, which comes from the best vineyards in the Valpolicella region. These grapes are first dried before being pressed to produce the Amarone wine. The resulting pomace then serves as the basis for this fine grappa.

Distillation takes place in traditional copper stills in three stages and at different temperatures in order to preserve the maximum aroma. Vacuum distillation is used to protect the volatile aromas, while bain-marie heating (water bath) enables particularly gentle distillation. The result is a grappa of exceptional purity and depth, which carries the characteristic notes of the Amarone grape marc. It then matures for around six months in stainless steel tanks, further refining its soft structure and harmonious aroma.

At 38% vol., Bottega Alexander Grappa Amarone is colorless, transparent and crystal clear - a fine distillate that impresses with its aromatic intensity and elegance.
