Benriach The Smoky Ten is an expressive Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that impressively reflects the smoky side of the region. Back in the early 1970s, the Benriach Distillery deliberately broke with convention by distilling peated malt alongside unpeated malt using traditional 19th century production methods. The Smoky Ten is made using barley that has been dried with Highland peat, whose woody smoke gives the whisky a characteristically sweet and elegant smokiness.

This bottling combines peated and unpeated distillate, which are matured for at least ten years in three different types of cask. Classic bourbon casks, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak casks are used. This three-cask maturation creates a multi-layered single malt that harmoniously combines fruit, smoke and spice. The whisky is bottled at 46% vol., uncolored and non-chill-filtered, which fully preserves its natural structure and depth. Benriach The Smoky Ten stands for a modern, balanced smoky style with a clear signature from the distillery.
