The Ardbeg 15 Years Old The Ultimate Trudernish is an Islay single malt Scotch whiskey whose name refers to the remote settlement of Trudernish—one of the hidden spots on Islay’s so-called “Enchanted Cape.” Inspiration comes in particular from the Trudernish spring, nestled deep within a grove, whose soft, pure water—according to local legend—is said never to freeze. At the same time, the whisky remains unmistakably true to the tradition-rich Ardbeg Distillery, founded on Islay in 1815, and its characteristic style. Earthy peat and wood smoke form the foundation of this 15-year-old expression, while the long maturation brings out additional depth and a remarkably creamy texture.

Bourbon casks, virgin oak, and Oloroso sherry casks are used for the Ardbeg Trudernish 15 Years Old. This combination enhances the classic Ardbeg character and enriches it with creamy, sweet, and spicy notes.
