The Aberlour 16 Years Old Double Cask Matured is an exquisite Speyside single malt Scotch whisky known for its depth, elegance and harmonious balance. Produced in the traditional Aberlour Distillery, which was founded in 1879 in the heart of Scotland's Speyside, this bottling stands for masterful maturation and fine craftsmanship.

As the name suggests, the whisky is matured in two carefully selected cask types - ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. This combination brings together the best of both worlds: the smooth vanilla sweetness and creaminess of the bourbon casks and the rich fruitiness and spice of the sherry casks. The long maturation of at least 16 years results in a complex, multi-layered whisky with a soft, round texture and noble depth of aroma. With an alcohol content of 40% by volume, Aberlour 16 Years Old is smooth, warm and perfectly balanced.
