Teranino Twist

How to Make Teranino Twist

What You'll Need

  • Teranino: 45 ml
  • Fresh orange juice: 30 ml
  • Fresh lemon juice: 15 ml
  • Simple syrup: 15 ml
  • Mint leaves: to taste
  • Soda water: top up
  • Ice: cubes

Crafting the Perfect Serve:

  • Choose a chilled rocks glass or highball and fill it with firm ice cubes for temperature control.
  • Add 4.5cl Teranino, 3cl fresh orange juice, 1.5cl fresh lemon juice, and 1.5cl simple syrup to a shaker.
  • Add 5–6 mint leaves and press them once gently with a spoon; avoid hard muddling, which can release bitter tannins.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 8–10 seconds, just enough to chill, brighten, and aerate the citrus.
  • Fine-strain over fresh ice in the glass so mint fragments stay out of the final texture.
  • Top with soda water, stir once from the bottom, and garnish with a mint sprig or thin orange slice.

Teranino Twist Mastery: Citrus, Mint & Sparkle Control

  • The Mint Touch: Mint should perfume the cocktail, not dominate it. A gentle press releases aromatic oils while keeping the finish clean.
  • Citrus Precision: Fresh orange gives round sweetness; lemon cuts through the liqueur and keeps the drink from tasting jammy.
  • Soda Timing: Add soda last to preserve carbonation. Stirring too much after topping will flatten the sparkle and dull the aperitif feel.
  • Ice Structure: Fresh cube ice in the serving glass keeps the red citrus body cold without fast dilution.
  • Party Pitcher: For six serves, mix 27cl Teranino, 18cl orange juice, 9cl lemon juice, and 9cl syrup. Chill, pour over ice, then top each glass with soda and mint.

Pour a Teranino Twist when you want color, citrus, and Croatian character in one glass. Sip it cold and let cherry spice, orange brightness, mint, and soda sparkle open like a sunset aperitif.
