Wood Stork Spiced Rum is made from exquisite ingredients, starting with sugar cane from South America. Once the molasses has been extracted from the sugar cane, it is carefully transported to the Black Forest. There it undergoes an elaborate processing procedure to create the basis for the rum.

In the traditional distilleries of the Black Forest, the rum is distilled in specially manufactured copper stills. This type of distillation, known as the pot still process, is particularly beneficial for preserving the natural aromas of the molasses. Compared to more modern methods, this classic process allows a more intense flavor development and ensures a richer, fuller-bodied distillate.
